Alberta Natural Gas Royalty Guidelines (2006)

These Guidelines, effective October 2002, are provided to give an understanding of the general application and principles for determining Alberta’s Crown royalty share of gas and gas products produced from lands subject to a Crown lease agreement.

Application of the Regulation in specific situations may vary, and implementation and practice of the Regulation may change without amending the Guidelines. This manual interprets the relevant energy legislation (statutes and regulations), and communicates policy decisions made, based on the legislation.
